CafePress provides you with an opportunity to make your designs and products eligible for placement in the CafePress Marketplace*. Your shops are automatically eligible for the CafePress Marketplace, however, you can choose to opt your shops out of eligibility for the CafePress Marketplace through the "Shop Management" screen in your account. By opting into the CafePress Marketplace you are agreeing that:
- CafePress will determine the retail price for your products that are sold through the CafePress Marketplace (the retail price you set for your products in your Basic and/or Premium shops will remain the same).
- For all products sold through the CafePress Marketplace your sole commission for those sales will be ten percent (10%) of the retail price paid by the buyer** (for products sold through your Basic and/or Premium shops you will continue to earn commissions in accordance with the Shop Pricing Policy.
- Your products will be eligible for CafePress Affiliate Program driven sales.
- In order to keep designs fresh and of high quality as we launch new products, styles, and printing technologies, solely for designs that you are selling through the CafePress Marketplace: (i) CafePress may automatically add your designs to additional products in the CafePress Marketplace; and (ii) in order to improve the printing quality, CafePress may automatically modify your designs (e.g., cleaning up JPG artifacting, adjusting colors for different printers and products, and adjusting design placement on products).
* Certain designs and products may not be available in the CafePress Marketplace. CafePress in its sole and absolute discretion will determine what designs and products will be available through the CafePress Marketplace.
**Excludes Flip Camcorders, books and CDs. Your commission for all Flip Camcorders sold through the CafePress Marketplace is $10 per Flip Camcorder sold. Commissions for books and CDs sold through the Marketplace will be on the Base Price/markup structure set forth in the Shop Pricing Policy.
Basic and Premium Shop Service
CafePress currently offers two types of shops: Basic and Premium. Basic shops are free of charge. Premium shops offer more features and products for a fee. You can receive a 15-Day free trial on your first Premium shop. Premium shop service fees are automatically billed one month from the date of opening your shop (or after your trial ends).
Premium Shop Service Plans
- $6.95 per month
- $18.45 for 3 months
- $34.95 for 6 months
- $59.95 for 1 year (only $5 per month!)
After the trial period, your account will automatically be subscribed to the Premium Shop Service on a monthly basis ($6.95 per month) unless you choose otherwise. All subscription fees will first be deducted from CafeCash that you accrue in your account. If you have not accrued enough CafeCash to pay for the Premium shop service, your credit card will be billed. You may choose a discounted Premium shop service plan in your account (e.g. 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year plan). Learn More.
You will earn a Shop Performance Bonus for sales of products added to a buyer's cart from your shop. The Shop Performance Bonus is calculated in stepped up tiers based on the total amount of Base Price sales of products added to a buyer's cart while in your shop each month. Purchases made by Sellers from their own shops (including Bulk Orders) and third party fulfillment items are not eligible for Shop Performance Bonus credit.

Whenever you order 6 or more of a specific product from your own shop or through Create & Buy you can receive up to a forty-five percent (45%) discount. Discounts vary with product and quantity. Bulk Discount orders will be shipped to one address only and will take 1-3 weeks to be produced and shipped. Bulk Discount orders are not be eligible for: (i) commissions; or (ii) Shop Performance Bonus credits. 2XL - 4XL T-Shirts are an additional $3 per shirt, second side printing is an additional surcharge of $3 per item, and book prices vary according to the type and size of your book. Bulk Discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts, coupons, or promotions, and are not available for Stickers, Buttons, Magnets, Greeting Cards (Pk of 10), Greeting Cards (Pk of 20), Note Cards (Pk of 10), Note Cards (Pk of 20), Yard Signs, Banners, Flip Mino and Flip HD Camcorder, SIGG™ bottle 1.0L and SIGG™ bottle 0.6L, InfiniStitch™ products and third-party fulfillment items.
