Written many moons ago (less than 10), in a time of deep healthcare turbulence and great oversight body actiivity (now), Dun Tzu's The Art of Accreditation has exerted an extraordinary influence over many health workers and hospital managers. You know as well as anyone that Joint Commission visits are stressful. They are hair-pulling, dragged out, long-in-coming, even-longer-in-finishing ordeals. Every level of your healthcare organization gets tense. Well, now, in a somewhat humorous mimicry of the original Art of War, comes the guidance of The Art of Accreditation. Soon to be a classic among health professionals and administrators.
